I created the Tag am Meer to get an own look and feel matching the idea of my site (and the theme of my old blog). This theme was derived from the arctic by Michael Klier, therefore sharing most of its features. Please refer also to his documentation. He deserves most of the honor for his fabulous work.

<dokuwiki>/lib/tpl/<dokuwiki>/conf/local.php and change the template-variable to $conf[’template’] = ‘tag-am-meer’;<dokuwiki>/lib/tpl/arctic/default.php to your needs (see configuration for details)The template is derived from the arctic template, most of the configuration is similar, so see here for details. Additional Configurations will be described here.
The template comes with a default set of images for background and header. To changed these, just copy the new images to the [wikiroot]/lib/tpl/tag-am-meer/images directory and name them accordingly:
The template is XHTML 1.0 and CSS conform and I intent to keep it this way, hence, not all browsers think that using these standards is a nice idea. The following table lists the successfully tested browsers. I defined successfully with “shows general layout correctly”, minor issues are stated in the table.
| Browser | OS | Version | Issues |
|---|---|---|---|
| Firefox | Linux | 1.5 | - |
| Firefox | WindowsXP | 1.07-1.5 | - |
| Konqueror | Linux | 3.5.1 | - |
| IE | WindowsXP | 6.0 | transparent PNGs |
The following browser are known not to show this page correctly at this moment:
| Browser | OS | Version | Problems |
|---|
If you find any working or not working browsers, please add them to the appropriate table. In the latter case add also a problem description to bugs.
Most of the credit goes to Michael Klier for the fabulous work and ongoing improvements on his arctic template. Furthermore a lot of thanks to the developer of dokuwiki for their great job and good documentation.
